[CNL3] Networks Issue / [Fixed]
Customers on the shared web server CNL3 may be experiencing downtime due to an ongoing denial of service attack since early this night. Our techs are looking into it and working on containing and stopping the attack. Very sorry about the inconvenience this is causing. Please note, this is not causing issues on other CNL machines that are in the same location.
To check if you’re on the affected machines, please go to the UnderHost panel and check the hostname for your users.
Update 04/01: Attack has been a bit less for a couple of hour now, we have null routed our main IP to gain access to the machine and we will now get it enabled within few hour, so service should be back to normal.
UPDATE 17h40: cPanel is back online as we talk along with the server, their still some testing to do before site can be accessed again but should not take too long.
UPDATE 18h30: no luck here, cpanel is back offline servers completely offline we have no ETA when thing would be better we do hope attack finally stop so we can start our operation back to normal.
UPDATE 19H00: cPanel back online along with FTP, site on dedicated IP should be back online too attack has been mostly mitigated but their still some issue so we can't put back on everything yet.
UPDATE 05/01: Attack are currently around 900mbps it goes down, so it will be definitely mitigated completely today.
UPDATE 05/01 19h: Finally thing goes better, everyone on dedicated Ip is back online everything should be working without slowness and shared IP site will come back in the next hour.
Final Update: The ip being targeted has been null-routed, and a new ip was given to the server. It is starting to recover now and we’ll continue to keep an eye on it. We are resolving this status post now, but if there are any further issues with sites on this server please don’t hesitate to contact support to let us know.

what the problem fix now ufff
Hello Chrilow, DDoS attack powerfull like we receive currently isn’t something easy to block, we do our best to minimize effect.
any luck so far? http://bizarre-networks.net
Well, ip being targeted will been null-routed within few minute and a new ip will be given to the server. It will start to recover after that and we’ll continue to keep an eye on it. New updates will be posted as soon as possible.
Was this attack directed at one specific site and if so have you identified it? This has been extremely frustrating but I appreciate you guys trying to keep us updated. 2+ days down is really difficult to swallow though.
Any new updates, Whats going on ?
This has been fixed, make sure to “refresh” your cache as IP has been modified.
I still am not able to connect to http://runebit.com
Please open or update your support ticket if you have any issue, probably only your cache as i’m able to view your forum community currently.
I’ve even tried “pinging” the site with the windows command prompt, it just gives request timed out. I’ve cleared my cache and restarted my browser even.
Works now. Thanks.
